Stephanie Whitney-Payne has more than 25 years experience in interior design. While living in Fairfield County, Connecticut, she founded Classic Concepts, specializing in antiques, painted furniture, and decorative painted surfaces.

After moving to Vermont, she initially designed for a firm that specialized in French Provincial, and subsequently for one that specialized in ski homes, lodges and second homes.

We do detailed floor plans to scale, color consultation, downsizing and upscaling, room use and flow, and when necessary, mitigation of architectural flaws. We also design window treatments, and have many resources for furniture, lighting, and accessories.
